Names to go with Mitchell

Our surname is Mitchell. This means Peggy, Grant and Phil are surely off bounds - how about Sam though? Would a boy or girl called Sam Mitchell be lumbered with the Eastenders association?

We don't watch it, so are there any other names from the Mitchell family we should avoid??

It was only after we'd already named DD that people raised the connection with an Emmerdale character!

I think Peggy's daughter was calles Sam so you might want to avois this one as well!

Yes she was. I think she's left now so I just wasn't sure how much the association still lingered. I like the name Sam though...

I have no idea who Sam Mitchell is if that helps......But I haven't watched Eastenders since Dirty Den left!

Laugs we suffer the same fate. I have a James (Jamie) if thats any help. I think Sam would be alright too, its enough in the past especially when the babies peers are old enough to comment.

I'm not a fan of Eastenders so don't know which names to avoid, but there is probably a list of them somewhere.
