Please can anyone suggest a couple of unisex names that go well together, (for twins where I don't yet know the gender).
Or names that transfer easily to the other gender if 6 months after birth I find out that I got their gender wrong: e.g. ferdinand/fernanda.
Thanks for your inspiration.

Hmm, not too keen so far.

OK, I'll admit it: it's for a couple of lovebirds we're acquiring soon. They are pretty expensive as it is, so I was not really willing to pay 20 pounds for DNA testing. Therefore, their gender will only become apparent at around 6-12 months when they reach maturity.

So, in that light....

I like pairs of names that go together well (e.g. historical people: Ferdinand & Isabella, or Victoria and Albert)

But need ideas for 2 boys, or two girls. And scope for change if my guess turns out to be wrong.

Or should I just name them anyway, and ignore it if they both or one of them turns out to be the other.

call them Lovey and Birdy.

ooooh you should call them Tristan and Isolde.

but of course that leaves no scope if the gender is wrong. maybe you shoul djust not name them untilk you know for sure?

Yes, I do apologise for posting in baby names.
But they will be my babies

Thank you.

What do you all think of going down the Shakespeare route?

Demetrius and Lysander?
Oberon and Titania?
Helena and Hermia?

Can you tell which one I most recently read?

Good job it wasn't Comedy of Errors! Anyway, isn't the answer Romeo & Juliet for love birds, or is that passe?
