Ticks all the MN boxes - Its unusual but not bizarre, easy to spell and say and pretty too.

Sadie is a nickname for both Sarah and Sally.

Yes nn, not shortened IYSWIM . Get called Sally-Ann as well which is longer!

My sister in law's cat is called Sadie, although DD used to call her "Seedy" and it sort of stuck!
