DH tried to convince me on this one but all I can think of when I hear the name is the Omen

Ach, sod that film, it's a very old film. Barnaby is a dinosaur, Milo, Max and Bella tweenies, Charlotte is a spider, Rory is a car, Finley is a fire engine, I could go on all day really.

Elizabeth Hurley chose it for her son.

tbh, I prefer Damon, but I don't see why everybody considers a name unusable because of an American film that is about 30 yrs old!!

It's strange how that one stuck, isn't it? people didn't stop calling their children Jason, Michael or Freddie after the horror films. I wonder why Damian (though I think the pp was correct and it is spelt with an 'e' in the film) has remained so connected with the character.

I must say, it's the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the name...and I haven't even seen the film!!
