Still not 100% sure if our baby is a boy or a girl, BUT, I think it's a girl...
so, top 5 names (IMO.. haven't run them past DH!) are:

  1. Darcy
  2. Imogen (Immy or Jenny)
  3. Hermione (Mimi)
  4. Madison
  5. Alicia (take on a family name)

Please vote for your favorite!

Middle name would be Kate, Jo or Victoria...

thankyou!

HM

Imogen is beautiful - its my dd's name so I love it and am biased! I think Imogen Kate is really lovely - wish I'd thought of that!

One thing I would say being a Mum to an Imogen (Immie to us - and she is just 4!) is that when we named her NO-ONE used the name Imogen, most people looked at us as if we were giving her some sort of makey-up name but now I keep running into Imogen's - I live in a small village and my daughter attends a tiny nursery with a total of 50 kids on their register and there are in fact 2 other Imogens! I think it may just be going the way of Isobel/Isabelle/Isabella and becoming a fairly popular name at the moment

have you considered Ismay? we used it as a MN for DD3 but I think its lovely

Bleatblurt · 11/03/2009 22:32

Imogen is the nicest from that list.

MrsWeasley · 11/03/2009 22:36

I like them all so I've put them in my fave order:
Hermione
Madison (DD's (13yo) second name and her teacher told her it wasnt a real name,)
Imogen
Alicia
Darcy

I like Alicia best
