Originally and for some bizarre reason bump to be was going to be called Rossi James, no question. But then we came to our senses and realised it maybe wasn't what we wanted at all!! (and after spinning it out on here too we came to realise that we were living in some deranged world where the name was both different and perfect)

On the top of the list at the moment is

Harry Joseph (although some deem this quite safe or too popular?! I have always loved Harry and it is not popular at all in our area)

The other two names are Harvey or Reuben.

Opinions?

harry is lovely

suwoo · 25/02/2009 18:38

All nice. I like Reuben best and wanted it for DS, but DH didn;t like it. It mean 'behold, a son' which I think is a lovely meaning particularly for a first boy.

Wolfblass · 25/02/2009 18:43

Exactly suwoo - that's just what i like about Reuben (dp has a child from a previous marriage and we have dd, so i think it's perfect in that respect!)

We have a DD and I agree it would be perfect for your circumstances. Please excuse my crap typing in my 1st post.
This one I am having now is Felix at the moment this week, do you like that wolfblass?

SoupDragon · 25/02/2009 21:10

They're all fine names

Wolfblass · 25/02/2009 21:40

Suwoo - i love Felix, however when i have mentioned it to dp before he just waves the tin of cat food at me! I, however really like it.

I also love Sebastian (Seb for short) and he will have none of it!

Then again when i was pg the first time around he really wanted Gabriel for a boy and i really could not see his fascination for it.

I like Ross with Rossi as a nn.

Or Roscoe. I like Reuben too, although I think it is becoming more popular. I prefer Reuben to Gabriel. There is a Gabriel on either side of me. Next door both sides I mean. I love Felix, even though it's quite deliberately trendy which usually I hate. Felix is a great name though.

Felix or Roscoe both great.

Wolfblass · 26/02/2009 10:28

I love Roscoe but it's out i'm afraid - we have discussed this before and it came out with a joint no... (eventually)

My DS1 is Felix

Always loved the name - regretted DS2 (Morgan) I hadn't realised how popular as a girls name it is.

I like Gabriel - DH wouldn't go for it.

FairySparkles · 26/02/2009 15:18

Just thought I'd put my vote in for Reuben, also love Gabriel too! - mind you Harvey is lush too.......choosing names is sooooo hard!!

Isn't it just Fairysparkles....
