Ok Im only just pg and have 2 ds'. Ds1 is Malachy and ds2 is Flynn. If this bean is a girl We like Annie Delilah and if its another boy we cant decide....
Would it be wrong to call it Fyfe as we arent Scottish, dh from N Ireland hence my boys names
We also like Saul or Sol but thats straying from the Irish theme a bit...
I like Rafferty, Dilany, Dempsey and Alby but cant convince Dp.

Any opinions welcome.

nailpolish · 25/02/2009 14:22

ps its Fife in Scotland not Fyfe

georgiemum · 25/02/2009 14:23

Absolutely bananas! Ha ha ha.

I don't think it's actually a name is it? It just makes me think of the song about the soldier.

squeaver · 25/02/2009 14:24

Can't say I'd think of Fyfe being a Scottish name tbh (and I'm Scottish and have loved in Fife). An odd name, but not a Scottish name.

squeaver · 25/02/2009 14:24

Actually It makes me think of bananas too.

Thanks for replys.
There are vaious ways to spell it, I liked it with the Y apposed to the I so its not after the place.
How about Rudy?

Rudy the naked cat

I'd rather not, really. I like Fyfe, definitely special. But I'm not Scottish or Brit so not sure how that comes across there.

fluffles · 25/02/2009 17:27

a fyfe is some kind of flute or pipe thingy i think... used in military bands maybe??

fife is a place in scotland

fyffe i don't think is anything.

it sounds nice, i've never heard it as a name before

Tarantella · 25/02/2009 17:54

There was the Scottish actor Fyfe Robertson

LadySweet · 25/02/2009 19:35

peachespaige · 26/02/2009 07:38
