DH and I both quite like Isabel Valentina - but is it just too much for a little baby? Our surname is quite basic, two syllables and is English, but pretty nondescript

I don't think so. You're not going to be calling her by her full name very often, are you?! And she's not going to be a little baby forever.
I think it's very pretty.
