I like Luc and Luca.
Luc might have to spell his name for people who think he's a "Luke" though?

WinkyWinkola · 22/02/2009 21:23

Luke is awful.So dull.

moondog · 22/02/2009 23:37

Luke rhymes with fluke, so gets me thinking about parasites (ie fluke worms)

"Luke rhymes with fluke, so gets me thinking about parasites (ie fluke worms)"

Luke also rhymes with puke
Lucas rhymas with mucus.

I can tear most names apart - go with Luca.

moondog · 22/02/2009 23:43

luca.....puta

Surely Hispanic talk for prostitute???

You'll never get a name everynoe likes so don't garner opinion. It always ends unpleasantly.

henrys7thwife · 23/02/2009 16:59

Lucas always makes me think of mucus. Luke is boring. Luca....hm. Jury out. Sounds pretty effeminate to me.

Luc? Never heard and don't like.

Sorry!

suwoo · 23/02/2009 17:18

Luca.

suwoo · 23/02/2009 17:19

Assuming Cael is pronounced Kyle (welsh)? You will be forever correcting people on that one.

sonniebonnie · 23/02/2009 18:21

Luke - very boring/dull and too common imo...

Luc - French and I think quite dull/common in France...

Luca - Italian and, again I think quite dull/common in Italy.... Agree it sounds feminine.

And, Lukas (Lucas) has been in the top 10 German most popular names for the past ten years so it's a very common name there.

Cael - sounds the most interesting of the bunch, assuming you're looking for a name with a Scottish heritage.
