Who had one as a child, and what was her name?

Mine was Madison May, and I regret it because I could not call my DD Madison even though I heart the name!

I had:
Rose Gretel (I changed it to Jennifer Rose!)
Andrea Henninger
and Aubrey Jason

Who came up with their names?

I love Cabbage Patch Kids....

Frasersmum123 · 03/02/2009 14:17

They must pick them at random from a baby name book.

salvadory · 03/02/2009 16:52

Amber Anna waaaay back in 1984, I loved her and her name although I've since been told that Amber is a 'porn star' name.

Bumblelion · 03/02/2009 17:11

I love the name Gretel along with Daphne and Lettice.

Alas neither of my two girls are called this.

I had George Henry, I think my sister's was Violet May

lastboxoftampons · 03/02/2009 18:05

I had Dara Ruthie, Doria Lola and Desiree something. Then later on I had one called Noelle and another called Marjorie Roxanne - and a boy called Vick Zed.

ramonaquimby · 03/02/2009 18:19

I had a boy, called Wilton Abe. My girls play with him now!

YesSirICanBoogie · 05/02/2009 16:29

Janella Olivetti, Ginny Libby and Reuben Kit. My Mum gave them away when I was 12 and I still pretend to be traumatised by it!

bluebump · 05/02/2009 16:32

I remember those Garbage Pail Kids you could get stickers of which were an evil version of the Cabbage Patch Dolls.

BellaMummy · 08/02/2009 08:51

I had one as a child called Gavin Spencer, and we just bought one for dd when we were in NY (was about 10 pounds - sure they weren't that cheap when I was small!) and she is called Maxie Lyla. DD loves her!

nissa · 08/02/2009 12:01

Mine was Tullulah Belle,

My daughters is Taya Denise.

Sadly, mine was nailed to the garden fence and used as target practice with the air gun by my step dad and brother - I've never recovered from the trauma

ruddynorah · 08/02/2009 12:11

me and my sister had loads. we had to babies, one called ella sabina, the other alice sabina. we also had 'real hair' ones called rachel and edna (can't remember middle names) and our first ones were the wooly hair ones, i had amanda, she had bernard. they were both slightly brown skinned, us being mixed race! still have them all, none still have hair though!

dd has one called beulah...or boooooler.

PlumBumMum · 08/02/2009 12:15

I was never allowed one, oh I must post on the other thread

Although I don't know about in England etc but when I was little there were these terrible urban myths about kids getting left alone with their cabbage patch dolls and getting murdered by them

Me thinks somebody was watching chucky, so needless to say I stopped asking for one

clairebear88 · 08/02/2009 15:17

I still have mine in the loft and was a bald girl names April Tayla. She was scary but I loved her so much. I will have to get up in the loft and bring her down for a cuddle

devonsmummy · 09/02/2009 20:39
