Rufus - likes a drink. But is quite artsy and I think I'd like him.
Arthur - stole the christmas club money. Eternally hen-pecked husband, with a sideline in used car sales.
Edward - Good guy. Honest.
Gilbert - lives on Prince Edward Island with Anne and their gazillion children. For some reason also makes me think of a fish. Bit drippy and meh.
Woodrow - Firm of road surfacing experts.

Vivienne - Bit of a vamp. Possible intimate tattoos. But quite fun and hip.
Venetia - wears an alice band and white shirt collar poking out of cashmere crew neck. Bit plump but jolly.
Xanthe - rather rah.
Florence - kind girl, very good at keeping up with friends.
Mabel - Flies a spotty aeroplane. Likes dogs. Possibly becomes a district nurse.

Apologies to anyone who has a child with names I have dissed. If any comfort dd's name came up in a previous list and it still smarts.

Rufus wears a scarf indoors and has a mop of hair (straight not curly).
Arthur is dependable with ruddy good looks. He grows into a thoughtful and romantic soul looking for his kindred spirit. I think he likes poetry.
Edward is reserved and stoic unless name is shortened to Ed in which case he is tall, dashing and a bit of a party animal
Gilbert needs to learn how to enjoy himself and wind down.
Woodrow hopes the shortened version of Woody will catch on because anything has to be better than Woodrow.

and

Vivienne is an enigmatic and tall woman.
Venetia is a Bond girl.
Xanthe studies art history.
Florence finds it hard to understand the joke.
Mabel has her own cake shop which attracts visitors from miles around

Hassled · 31/01/2009 20:14
