Yeah, so, whattya all think?
DP is stuck on Ilse, but I can see a lifetime of people thinking it's Isla, which will be irritating.

I think if you choose Astrid, which is a lovely name, you have to have a middle name that doesn't begin with a vowel....

Astrid Odelie?

really?

minouminou · 26/01/2009 14:12

The consonant-starting has crossed my mind, but Ilse's looking like the top contender, as Astrid will be ending with a hard-ish "d", so a vowel might soften it a bit.

Astrid Ilse is gorgeous!

I'm not sure about Odelie...

Astrid Charlotte?

I went to school with a Dutch girl called Astrid and she was phenomenally pretty and had a really lovely personality so I've always liked the name. Although I suppose that just means I can't be objective about it!

But I must say Astrid Odelie sounds like one word. It must be the repetition of the "d" sound... "It would be astridodely expensive to replace the whole roof with real slate"..

Doesn't Astrid Odelie sound a bit like you are yodelling? Or am I pronouncing it all wrong?

I have an Astrid - she is Astrid Erika.

How about Astrid Mathilda?
