What is/can Archie be short for?

I am not a fan of shortened names being used on birth certificates.

However, I have a bit of a dilemma as I like Archie but am none too keen on Archibald. Is Archie a shortened form of anything else?

I know what you mean! Dh & I were having a mini panic attack at the weekend as my period was late (he has had the snip!), not over an unexpected pregnancy but what names we could choose.
