Call you dc a name starting with O if your surname starts with a D??

DH and I have finally agreed on a first name, but are concerned that OD might be the beginning of the teasing at school 'the odd child?'

Or are we over analysising this waaaay tooo much?

Will you use a middle name? Even if not, or the school only uses 2 initials, I still don't think it would be a problem.

We didn't do an O name as we would have had an OD.

and as DH is a paramedic and I work with drug users we use it all the time as an expression!
