Love it. I'd spell it like that, not Layla.

lollipopz · 08/01/2009 16:35

Not as keen on Lola

No wouldn't spell with a y have seen it spelt Leila but that might be pronounced differently!

I think Leila can be pronounced Lay-la or Lee-la.

I prefer the spelling Leila or Layla to Laila but that's probably because its more common (i'm not aware of Laila).

Lela. Like it but quite common these days if that bothers you

Lmccrean · 08/01/2009 22:30

I looked after a Leila (the only one I know), pronounced Lee-la and I know a Layla. Both beautiful names. And Rose is my dds middle name so its high on my "love it" list!

I don't like your spelling, but the name is o.k.

I like the name a lot but wasn't keen on the meaning, it means "night" in Arabic, but that may not be an issue for you. Also, it is very common in the Arab world - again, this may not be relevant to you.

love love this name but would have Layla Rose. Cant use it as rhymes with our surname
