Can't decide which is the nicer spelling! Really need to plump for one or the other and stick with it... what do you think?

Zac- It'll help him in school that his name is phonetic once he starts reception
My nephew is Zack

Thunderduck · 07/01/2009 17:31

Zach.

purpleflower · 07/01/2009 17:32

My nephew is Zach.

Are you putting Zachary on the bc? I don't think it matters. It's a lovely name. Zac is easier I agree.

MAvellous · 07/01/2009 17:41

Zacharias is on the bc...

I think Zac if on it's own, Zach if short for longer name.

nooka · 08/01/2009 07:21

Zacharias is rather fab! I like the look of Zac.

littleboyblue · 08/01/2009 07:26

This was our name for ds2 for a while. I would have spelt it Zach

hopsyflop · 08/01/2009 21:34

Definately Zacharias on birth certificate. Than shorten to either Zach or Zac - that could even change over time, depending on what ds thinks as he gets older. Why decide now???

Zacksmummy · 08/01/2009 22:22

My son is called Zack but his initials are ZAC.
"Zack" seems a bit more like "Jack" so maybe abut more trendy than "Zach"

annasmami · 09/01/2009 11:24

I would shorten Zachariah to Zac because that's how it'll be pronounced.

Zach could be (wrongly) pronounced as Much, Each or Such.

othersideofchannel · 09/01/2009 13:25

I never thought of pronouncing the -ch- in Zach as Beach or Batch but for that reason I too would use Zac!

RachieB · 09/01/2009 14:03

I prefer the look of Zach, then Zac

then zack with just doesn't look right

RachieB · 09/01/2009 14:03

which .... not with !
