Suggestions have been:

Barney, Rex, Max, Jake, Logan, possibly Theo/Ted.

Pregnancy brain engaged, do I like them or hate them I just can't decide...

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

not barney, cartoon name that.

logan-berry?

rex-c'mere boy

max-a million of them

theo and ted are ok, but nicknames? or is that nicholas names??

AndATigerschickInAPearTree · 30/12/2008 10:05

Not keen on Barney or Rex.
Max and Jake are pretty popular - tho that might not bother you.
Don't really mind Logan ...
I like Theo and Ted. I think Theo works on its own but I'd go for Edward and use Ted as a nn.

HTH

mumof2andabit · 30/12/2008 11:01

Dd would have been Logan if she was a boy I love it!

girlandboy · 30/12/2008 11:03

Barney - bear?
Logan - as in Logan's run, well it's not bad.
Rex - too dog-like!
Max - very popular
Theo - Is that short for something? Theophilus?
Ted - another bear?

Out of all of them, I prefer Logan.

belgo · 30/12/2008 11:09

Love the name Logan. And Theo.

Vulgar · 30/12/2008 11:09

i like Barney and Rex

AtheneNoctua · 30/12/2008 11:20

Barney and Rex sound like twin dinosaur names.

I like Logan, Jake (if short for Jacob) and Ted (if short for Edward).

Jake is very common, though, if that matters.

MissyK · 30/12/2008 11:22

these are a list of name's that I had given t me over xmas - well, the 'weirder' ones, (there were lots of Matthew, Connor, George, Bradley, Jack, Charlie etc etc) . Not actually our list - ours is blank, really can't find anything!! But still 16-18 weeks to go!

I like Logan already have a Luke.. Maybe too close.
Ted would probably be nn so Edward - but that reminds me of someone I used to dislike at school..
Theo - I don't know if it would just a nn or just that..

agh, i have no boys names i love!!
He will be nameless even at the registry i expect, lol.. And we only get 14days to register the birth/name..

Theo is nice - not ken on the rest

Wolfblass · 30/12/2008 11:22

I love Max - but nearly everyone i know has a dog or child called Max.

Loving Theo at the moment

Barney reminds me of a big annoying fat purple dinasour (sorry but it does)

Rex, although too quite dog like - i love

Logan - not very 'of the moment' which i think makes it a superb name

Themasterandsnowballs · 30/12/2008 11:50

Could you change Barney to Barnaby? Much nicer. Otherwise Jake, Theo and Max are good.

purepurple · 30/12/2008 11:58

it is strange that names that suit babies really don't suit teenagers
barnaby? really

Themasterandsnowballs · 30/12/2008 12:29

Actually pure I find the older he gets the more he suits it

purepurple · 30/12/2008 12:44

it is all very subjective, i work with children and it is hard to seperate the name from the child you know

BexieID · 30/12/2008 12:52

I like Max and Logan. DP really wants to call another boy Logan, although I really fancy George atm, not that we're expecting another yet!

SoupDragon · 30/12/2008 12:54

don't like Barney (the infernal purple dinosaur), Rex (dog name), Max (too many but never been keen) or Logan (just yuck IMO)

Jake, Ted/Theo... Ok.

SoupDragon · 30/12/2008 12:56

Barnaby?? That's a bear. "I'm Barbaby... I'm Becky... we're off to see the world...." [shudder] and that's ignoring the old one "Barnaby the bear's my name!"

audley · 30/12/2008 13:19

I have a Barnaby and I love his name. We just are struggling to find another boys name we love so much.
