I have a negative connotation with this name as a Jerome I know is an egocentric, conceited, obnoxious jerk. Sorry.

charmkin · 28/12/2008 18:26

love it

SpaceTrain · 28/12/2008 18:36

Great. A strong and distinctive name. Go for it!

HallelujahHeisBorntoMary · 28/12/2008 18:39

Well, there's Jerome Flynn. Not that dodgy, although sometimes a little cheesy.

And Jerome K Jerome who wrote the book "Three men in a boat".

llareggub · 28/12/2008 18:48

I had a gorgeous French boyfriend called Jerome as a teenager.

Scarfmaker · 28/12/2008 19:11

I nearly called my son Jerome 16 years ago but I hesitated and named him Jamie instead.

I also had Jared in mind.

I love the name Jerome.

paolosgirl · 28/12/2008 19:14

Jerome Flynn springs to mind - but that's showing my age.

How would you pronounce it? I know of one pronounced Gerom, which I think, sounds slightly better than Je Rome.

Aliway · 30/12/2008 19:45

Thanks for all the feedback, am still undecided but feel it will go well with my firstborns name not due till april so plenty of time yet!

It's good - unusual without being outlandish. I know a Jerram too. Or Gerram. Not sure how it's spelt.

stillenacht · 30/12/2008 20:33

Trizelda · 30/12/2008 22:14
