Harriet... Too many of them?

Have a 10 day old daughter at home - still without a name! I'm a dad by the way, so hope I'm allowed on here. Both the wife and I have shortlists just there's not the same names on either. I like old school names like Charlotte, Violet and Harriet. Violet has been ruled out (sadly as I love it), maybe I can persuade the good lady to have Charlotte or Harriet. Middle name will be Suzanne after the wife's mum (dec'd).

I like Harriet but is it becoming really popular? If you've got kids at school, are there Harriets in your son/daughter's classes/years? (Son is called Samuel Leonard - Sam)

Many thanks

Nick

no worries, we both want to give her a name but can't quite decide. I suppose neither of us parents would have chosen our own names but neither of us have wanted to change them either.

The wife doesn't even drink so I can't get her plastered tonight and get her to agree to my faves!

i know you badly want to get it right, but after a while your baby won't be she'll just be herself and you won't be able to think of her as anything else, iyswim.

watch out for your dw plying you with drink tonight to get her choices...

good luck!
