Girls names needed!

When we found out I was pregnant with DS, my DP and I couldn't agree on names so we agreed if he was a boy then DP would choose, and I would have chosen a girls name. I couldn't decide on one then but then we found out we were having a boy so didn't have to... ANYWAY, I'm pregnant again with a girlie and so I'm stuck choosing a name! I'm so rubbish, I really can't decide. The only name I like is Holly but DP said he really doesn't want it as it's too common, but DS is Charlie, which is really common at the min.

SO, please throw really nice girls names at me, considering she will have a brother called Charlie... xx

I love the name Holly, we're expecting in a few weeks and we considered that if it was a girl (we're having a boy though )

Our other names were

Beth and Amy

It was a very short list

Hope it all goes well

Jayne
Emma x
Summer (DH's favourite)
Marie-Claire or just Marie but pronounced in the old fashioned way of marry
Elizabeth
Hannah x
Lorna x
Tamasin
Julia x
Phoebe
Xanthe
April x
Elspeth
Jeannie
Frances
Anne- all the ann's or anne's I know are fab and strong people. x

LuLuBai · 12/11/2008 16:13

If you like Holly then perhaps:

Daisy (I know two Hollys with sisters called Daisy so they must appeal to the same people)
Maisie
Millie
Molly
Tilly (short for Mathilda)
Amy
Esme
Rosie
Poppy
Lucy
Mabel
Flora

The only name I would avoid if you already have a Charlie is Lola for obvious reasons (although the names are both lovely and do sound rather good together)

blinks · 12/11/2008 16:57

Colette
Leisl
Lily
Eliza
Elsie
