After 'im indoors wrinkling his nose up at so many girls names I've suggested, we finally have a few we both like on the shortlist! Would you mind taking a sec please to reply with the one you like best?
(Would be good if we could set up our own polls on here - if someone knows how lemme know!)
Thanks lots!

Evie

Mabel

Lila

Isabel

Love them all apart from Mabel.
Evie is absolutley lovely and slightly less popular than Isabel. You could have Evie Isabel.

FimboGotAxed · 11/11/2008 13:03

I work in a playgroup the most common names that crop up are Evie (not Eve for some reason), Lilia and all variants of Isabel.

I would choose Mabel from your list.

CuppaTeaJanice · 11/11/2008 13:03

Like Isabel a lot.
Evie nice but overused.
Mabel - old lady.
Lila ok.

LadyThompson · 11/11/2008 13:04

Mabel or Isabel. 'Bel' names are so pretty...

MrsTitchmarsh · 11/11/2008 13:04

Isabel

(love Evie but there are so many around at the mo)

VersdeSociete · 11/11/2008 13:04

All except Mabel very overused in my neighbourhood.
Try a variation? Isadora is nice?

ramonaquimby · 11/11/2008 13:05

despite having 3 girls, Mabel is my absolute favourite girls name. dh not a fan.....

I think Evie/Isabel are overdone at the moment
not keen on Lila but love Lilian

LuLuBai · 11/11/2008 13:08

Mabel Mabel Mabel - Hurrah!

love the others but there are too many of them running around. Every other girl is Eva/Evie/Ava ot Isobel/Isabelle/Isabella at the moment. Lila is v. pretty but there are lots of celebrities with kids names in that vein (Kate Moss, Sara Cox, Trinny Woodall....) and sounds just a teensy weensy bit like Lilet

CharleeInChains · 11/11/2008 13:12

Isobel ot Lila

Not liking Evie or Mabel tbh.

francagoestohollywood · 11/11/2008 13:12

Mabel is my favourite on your list. I'm not keen on Isabel.

ninedragons · 11/11/2008 13:13

Evie

IanDerick · 11/11/2008 13:13

Evie!

BabyBaby123 · 11/11/2008 13:24

Lila - only one I'm really not keen on is Mabel

Lotster · 11/11/2008 13:30

SoupDragon · 11/11/2008 13:31

Like Evie and Isabel, hate Lila and Mabel.

wotulookinat · 11/11/2008 13:32

Lila - but I would spell it Lyla.

Tillyscoutsmum · 11/11/2008 13:33

Mabel

QueenFee · 11/11/2008 13:34

Evie for me!

rempy · 11/11/2008 13:35

Lila, but agree, all bar old lady Mabel overdone. Masses of Evies. What about Eve?

ohdearwhatamess · 11/11/2008 13:41

Isabel
