findtheriver · 31/10/2008 19:42

How lovely to see a thread where someone suggests a beautiful, classic name which isn't either too obscure or too popular.

Perfect!

2point4kids · 31/10/2008 19:43

Very nice

pamelat · 31/10/2008 19:54

Lovely. I know a Martha Grace, she is 13 months old and lovely.

flowerybeanbag · 31/10/2008 19:56

Lovely.

katch · 31/10/2008 19:58

I know a Grace and have always thought she had a lovely name. And today, for some reason, I was thinking about the name Martha. The two together are sublime.

Plonker · 31/10/2008 20:00

I love Grace, i'm not keen on Martha, but i have to say that the two together sound lovely

Heated · 31/10/2008 20:00

It's a beautiful combo

RachieB · 31/10/2008 20:01

I agree with Plonker

wobbegong · 31/10/2008 20:31

yes I love it

MingMingtheWonderPet · 31/10/2008 20:38

I love Martha, was vetoed by DH for our DD though as his boss is called Martha and he didn't want to look too arsey!
Very beautiful name.

frazzledoldbag34 · 31/10/2008 20:42

Martha is lovely.
Lots of people seem to use Grace for a middle name at the moment I guess, but that's not a reason not to!
Martha Grace sounds very elegant and pretty

MrsMattie · 31/10/2008 21:05

Yes, it's very sweet.

weepootle · 31/10/2008 21:15

Both lovely names - Martha is very high on my list of favourites but sadly bottom for dh! I agree that Grace is now the equivalent of Louise or Jane for middle names but I prefer it as a middle name than a first name.

Lonnie · 31/10/2008 21:43

Work very well together

simpson · 31/10/2008 22:46

Love Martha and especially love Grace as its my DD's middle name too.

barnsleybelle · 31/10/2008 22:49

It's absolutley beautiful.

PestoFangsLookGoodOnMeMonster · 31/10/2008 22:51

I love it. DD1's best friend is called this.

Lovely

Pinkchampagne · 31/10/2008 22:56
