It's popular as a popular thing on popular day but it's fairly pretty. I do so love Naughty Amelia-Jane.

I don't like it. The meeeeeeeeeel sound in the middle is yuck.

But I like Emily and Amelie, despite their popularity. But tbh I think names with Ms and Ls in them have reached supersaturation.

I was reading an old copy (1962) of Amelia Jane and I was shocked by how horrible the other toys were to her. I hope the new editions have been edited to remove the bullying!

ps, very puff daddy, "A,melia" !!! the punctuation in the middle of the name

Starbear · 25/10/2008 11:42

I like it

it's my name but it never suited me so we shortened it. Good thing about amelia loads of nm.

Littleface · 25/10/2008 16:54

I've got an Emilia, not as common and can be shortened to Emmy or Millie

annasmami · 25/10/2008 18:02

I find it way too popular at the moment...

nickeldime · 26/10/2008 16:19

I'd prefer Amalia - it's a related name, but it's not too popular at the moment, and it might just get more popular since it was last popular in the 1930s! baby name Amalia

I think it's a lovely name which lends itself to lots of abbreviations.

I know an Amelia that is known as Mimi and another that's called Lia
