Ozarius, Oscar or Dexter

Firstly, I am not even sure I am pregnant but I had a dream I was and that was how the last one started BTW, I realise I sound like a complete nut job and lentil weaver with that last sentence but go with it!
OK, so I am thinking of boys names but am finding there aren't too many I like.
We have a Zachary already. So...
Ozarius (Would be shortened to Oz. I really like this but think it might be a bit...much? Also, are Zachary and Ozarius too similar? I would probably have a fight with my DH on my hands for this one as I am pretty sure he wouldn't be keen.)
Oscar (Again, I really like this but I knew a dog called Oscar and can't get it out of my head that it's a dog's name! Although, I did have a cat named 'Zac' when I was a kid so maybe it's a theme!)
Dexter (I like this although the TV series Dexter is about a serial killer which I don't really want to name my baby after!)

Thoughts? Any other suggestions?

Out of your 3 choices - I like Oscar.

Another suggestion - I think Zachary and Gabriel sound great together.

Thanks Sept. I love the name Gabriel but I don't like Gabe (or Gay) which is what it would definitely be shortened to here in Australia. Very much thinking along the right lines though! Any others?

Funnily enough, we are currently trying to decide between Oscar and Dexter too! Never heard of Ozarius before though??

Oscar - it's a bit 'trendy' at the moment but at the end of the day it is still a classic name and I think it will suit a baby, child and adult equally well. Can be shortened to Oz as well.

Dexter - I think this is such a cool name, the only drawback for me is that it sounds very American. I had never heard of this serial killer series until I saw it talked about on here, although I have heard of Dexter's Laboratory, which is one of DH's favourite cartoons.

Both of the above names have been used for pets, yes, but then so have so many other names - I really wouldn't let that put you off.

Dexter seems very american.

I think all of them go with Zachary, although if anything, Oscar is a bit too "normal" .

Yes, I agree, Dexter does sound a bit American although, from my quick search, it's origin is English.
Wavedancer, I have done a search on Ozarius and a few sites and nothing came up. I am sure I saw it on a baby name site and that it's Biblical and pronounced 'Oh-zarius' but I can't find it anywhere. Surely I didn't make it up?!

Orlando? I wanted that but it doesn't work with surname.
