Mirissa?

Dh is from sri lanka and Mirissa is a beautiful beach there that we have visited.

Ds1 is Oliver so don't want to go down route of giving Tamil names but this seems good compromise, not too odd and pretty sounding. Would be Miri for short.

What do you think?

2 worries:
too much like Marissa fron O C?
i need a boy's name to go with it (twins!). (don't suggest Columbo!!). Just an English one fine, but that sound good together.

I think Mirissa is pretty BUT I do think she will always have it spelled Marissa. If that doesn't worry you then go for it! Can't help with a boy name

Why not Marco, per your link?

Marco and Mirissa

Thanks for comments. Do like Marco (and had considered it),we already have a cousin in the family with that name (was dh's grandad), so could definitely work with keeping everyone happy!
