It worked for Mr Costello.

SaintRiven · 09/10/2008 17:26

a lifetime of heartache with that one!

acoady · 09/10/2008 17:28

I think it would only work if you then chose something like "Clint" as a middle name!!

Betti · 09/10/2008 17:30

Really like it Choc. One to add to my list. How about Elvi for a girl?

ChocOrange05 · 09/10/2008 17:41

I think Elvis is just as nice for a girl, no need to remove the "s"!

LesAnimaux · 09/10/2008 17:51

I think Yay.

You would have to be a cool family though to carry it off.

Anna8888 · 09/10/2008 17:56

No NO NO.

There are two Elvises at my DD's school - Elvis Polanski (son of Roman) and Tim-Elvis Guetta (known as Elvis) who is the son of David and Cathy Guetta of Parisian nightclub fame.

Are you that kind of parent?????????

Blandmum · 09/10/2008 17:56

Farking Nora!!! NOOOOOOOOOO

ImFabioandsosmyWife · 09/10/2008 17:59

Only if your child looks like this or this

MonkeyMargot · 09/10/2008 18:00

ChocOrange - LOVE IT! Was on our boys list, but DH has another favourite now...

OneLieIn · 09/10/2008 18:01

OMG, why is it only weird names come on here asking for opinions? It is nothing short of awful.

Lizzzombie · 09/10/2008 18:02

He may well change it as soon as he is old enough.
One of DP's mates was christend Elton. As soon as he was able he changed it to Mike!

MrsMattie · 09/10/2008 18:03

I know a baby Elvis. It's...not to my taste.

JuneBugJen · 09/10/2008 18:04

It will only be able to be pulled off if he is going to be super confident and/or good looking.

Are you willing to take that risk? Look at your bank manager or builder, would they hold their own with a name like Elvis? because that could be what your ds looks like one day.

Miyazaki · 09/10/2008 18:04

I like it, in theory.

LesAnimaux · 09/10/2008 18:24

Anna888 the plural of Elvis is Elvi

domesticslattern · 09/10/2008 18:32

I love it. DH forbade it.

Pingpong · 10/10/2008 00:26

DH loved it, I forbade it

SuperBunny · 10/10/2008 00:37
