not borealis!

I think something with 1 syllable would be nice, but not boring like 'Jane'
or anything you think would be nice!

Aurora Jo Sales

Although I agree with previous post about Aurora being difficult to say.

Didn't you like Lydia before?

Does Aurora Lydia Sales work?

FabioCatello · 07/10/2008 21:59

Can I just put in a word about nominitive determinism and Murphy's Law?

If you name your baby after the Sleeping Beauty you are tempting fate. You could end up with a child who sleeps no more than 10 minutes for its entire first year.

Disclaimer: call your child what you like, everyone else can bugger off.

PS Do NOT let her take up embroidery, sewing or stitchery of any kind. You never know.

PPS Am standing on shoulders of MrsTH.
PPPS Only she and I got her original joke anyway.

NL3 · 07/10/2008 22:07

dinkymum · 07/10/2008 22:35

Liffey · 08/10/2008 18:42

Aurora is very hard to say, and I'm Irish and we can say our Rs more clearly. I'm really struggling to arrange my mouth into the correct position necessary to say Aurora. My whole face is contorted. Sorry.

Not a pretty name at all.

Alba is Spanish for Dawn.

Liffey · 08/10/2008 18:43

Lydia is a million times nicer. Lydia is not a disney barbie on roller blades either.

EnchantedWithEdwardCullen · 08/10/2008 19:38

I didn't ask for opinions on it, just middle names

If I had said 'Aurora' what do you think of this name?

fair enough, but I didn't.

Aurora will be her name.

I don't like Lydia anymore.

Liffey · 08/10/2008 19:49

I have to agree, Jane is sort of confidently modest if that makes sense.

J2O · 08/10/2008 19:49
