Claudia or India?

Right it is me again, I know, I know, I know I liked Cecily but I have gone off it, don't know why. Claudia and India are both names I have loved for a while but never thought I would use them for one of my own children but I am getting desperate...

So, which one is the nicer?

DD1 is Grace, DD2 is Maya

India is lovely.

Also Livia.

Claudia...of course but that's my name and I'm Italian....

Jodyray · 24/09/2008 21:54

thanks jasper...i like it too obviously!

Woollymummy · 24/09/2008 22:03

I prefer Sylvia. go on, you know you do too.....

minkersmum · 24/09/2008 22:25

both lovely.

think claudia goes better with grace and maya tho but love india too as quite 'alternative'

think names only pretentious if totally ott, not like india which is just a bit different!

lunamoon2 · 24/09/2008 22:26

I like both, agree about India sounding like a dark haired/eyed girl though.

groovergirl · 25/09/2008 14:53

India is woefully bourgeois bohemian unless the kid has a verifiable link with the subcontinent --- ancestry or place of birth. It reminds me of the many suburban Australian kiddies named Dakota and Montana. Don't go there, metaphorically or otherwise!

ThinWhiteDuchess · 25/09/2008 22:10

Guess that makes me a Bobo then groover. C'est la vie. I have a bloody gorgeous DD though who totally suits the name India.

BabyBaby123 · 26/09/2008 09:40

prefer India

SlinkieM · 27/09/2008 09:20

Sorry - not too keen on either - Claudia slightly better but pretty Sloaney; India agree on the boho etc take, wee bit pretentious sorry.
Strange as my DD is Maya Grace so we agree on some things!
