Any thoughts?

nice but a lot of vowels, I think Stella Lucia would be better.

FairLadyRantALot · 18/09/2008 22:34

doesn't one mean star and the other light?
Bit to much, imo...however I do like both names seperately

MadBadandDangerousToKnow · 18/09/2008 22:40

It sounds very pretty and very Italian. How does it fit with your surname? Estella Lucia Arkwright might sound a bit odd.

EachPeachPearMum · 19/09/2008 10:19

I think it's lovely, but would def depend on the surname- ours does sound Italian, but this would be too stacatto.

belgo · 19/09/2008 10:20

Estelle Lucia sounds better.

BlueChampagne · 19/09/2008 13:22

Agree with Belgo & Totalchaos - too many 'a's. Like their alternatives though.

Cies · 19/09/2008 13:51

How are you pronouncing Lucia?

In Spanish it would be - LuTHEEa

I think in Italian it would be LuCHEEa

Or would you go for LuSEEa

WelliesAndPyjamas · 19/09/2008 13:55

I think both names are beautiful and go nicely together.

Megglevache · 19/09/2008 13:57

gorrrrrrrrrrgeous

PrettyCandles · 19/09/2008 13:57

I love Estelle, but I think Estella flows better with Lucia (however pronounced).

hermykne · 19/09/2008 13:58

BEAUTIFUL
estelle was 2nd choice for my dd, who is Esme

OrmIrian · 19/09/2008 13:58

i think Estelle Lucia is better. Too many 'a' endings otherwise.

OrmIrian · 19/09/2008 13:59

oh.. too late

conniedescending · 19/09/2008 14:00

i think its a bit ott together - separately its lovely........unless you are Italian

tiggerlovestobounce · 19/09/2008 14:12

I don t like it. Sounds too close to Estee Lauder to me.

klou · 19/09/2008 16:40

thanks for all the replies!

Can you believe me Spanish niece is called Estela Lucia! I think it is lovely, but also prefer Stella.
