Ok, finally narrowed it down to 2 girls names and 2 boys names. We may be influenced on the day by what baby looks like etc but just wanted to get some MN views on my choices.

Boys: Harry or Freddie (Fred)

Girls: Lucy or Harriet

Any thoughts please

Harry and Lucy

LaDiDaDi · 18/09/2008 15:07

Harry or Harriet.

Moogatron · 18/09/2008 16:34

I like Lucy. My name is a short version of a longer name (the longer one being on my birth certificate) and I really like the fact that my parents gave me the choice to use the longer name when I grew up. Therefore, I would go Frederick and call him Fred/Freddie or Henry then call him Harry. it might be quite hard to have credibility as an adult with a cutsie name. Also, with Freddie, I do think of that short comedian...

pooka · 18/09/2008 16:35

Harry
Lucy

MadameCastafiore · 18/09/2008 16:37

Harriet - is DDs name and I love it.

Freddie - just sounds cute and naughty to me - although that might not be that good if you don't want a cute naughty kid!

HollyGoHeavily · 18/09/2008 16:58

Harry and Lucy

Flumpybumpy · 18/09/2008 17:00

Lucy & Freddie

MKG · 18/09/2008 17:01

Freddie, agree with Frederick as a first name and Freddie as a nickname though, and Lucy

SJLTM · 18/09/2008 17:16

It has to be Lucy as I have one ! and Harry for a boy as that was my No 1 but dd3 was a girl !

Reginaphilangy · 18/09/2008 21:52

Lovely names

moondog · 18/09/2008 21:54

Don't like either. Too common.

cthea · 18/09/2008 21:57

cheesesarnie · 18/09/2008 22:00

harry and lucy

MadBadandDangerousToKnow · 18/09/2008 22:01

Harry (well, Henry actually, so that in later life he can choose whether he likes the abbreviation or not) and Harriet.

FairLadyRantALot · 18/09/2008 22:42

Not Freddy but Frederic is lovely (ds3 was almost called that...but people were shortening it immidiately after being told....saying oh Freddie is lovely ...that put me off Frederic.....so, obviously not keen on Fred and Freddie)
Like Harry and Lucy

thisisyesterday · 18/09/2008 22:49

freddie and harriett

BlueChampagne · 19/09/2008 13:23

Or there's Alfred instead of Frederic(k)
Prefer Lucy to Harriet

2point4kids · 19/09/2008 13:26

I am very surprised at the number of people prefering Lucy to Harriet!
Harriet is beautiful and (sorry but) Lucy is a little dull!

Harry for a boy rather than Freddie

pooka · 19/09/2008 14:14

Lucy not dull!
