I like Fred for a boy and Dh wants Angus.

Could we combine the two and call him Fungus?

OP posts:

gagamama · 14/09/2008 15:06

Haha, love it!

Seriously though... Fergus?

Janni · 14/09/2008 15:12

Or Findus?

castille · 14/09/2008 15:18

Fangus is much classier

ethanchristopher · 14/09/2008 20:06

ahahahahaha

fungi for short?

charx · 15/09/2008 23:18

Fred is cool. Angus is a beefburger.

Jic · 15/09/2008 23:26

i agree with charx-fred is a cool name so simple and straightfoward that's the feeling i get from it anyway- don't like freddy though
and what's more it'll be brilliant for when he is old too- a name so cool it goes from newborn through to pensioner! don't you think though sometimes that some kids will have to cope with such unusal name sthat are great when they are young but when they;re old it will be so strange to call them it, and vice versa i guess

go for fred, forget angus! grin

Lunette · 15/09/2008 23:28

Yes, it's lovely! But then I'm biased, as DS9 is called Fungus!

charx · 15/09/2008 23:32

Jeez Lunette - tell me thats DS aged 9 not 9th child!

Jic · 15/09/2008 23:36

right back at you charx-

Lunette · 15/09/2008 23:43

Er... I was joking! I don't really have a DS called Fungus. Or 9 DC's.

Jic · 15/09/2008 23:51

phew, and phew Lunette

KAEKAE · 16/09/2008 00:04

lol findus!!!!! rofl! What a funny post!

But I love both names!

BlueChampagne · 16/09/2008 13:19

Use both - so long as they don't make an unsuitable acronym with your surname.
