As a middle name it is popular - yes.
As a first name it is less so.

But it is getting more popular ...

Its a beautiful name

What a beautiful name
All the way through my pregnancy, my baby was going to be a Rose if she was a girl. It is my favourite name for girl. But very strangely, after she was born we completely changed our minds. It was and is still my favourite girl's name but DD just didn't look like a Rose. Even as a brand new baby she wasn't a Rose. DH and I both felt it instantly and after about 24 hours of discussion we called her Abigail (Abi for short) instead and that suits her perfectly.
If I was to get pg again (highly unlikely) Rose would be at the top of my list again.

How about Rosanne/a, Rosemary, Rosamund, Rosalind?

TheFallenMadonna · 16/09/2008 13:24

It's lovely. I much prefer it to the variations on a theme.
