What do you think?

I think it was last popular somewhere around 1890. Goes well with my other kids names anyway.

I wanted one of those last time, but dp didn't like. I still think it's v.nice.
We went for Esme in the end...

choufleur · 08/09/2008 13:34

it's a nice name but the first thing that springs into my mind is Dolitte.

compo · 08/09/2008 13:34

I think it is a very pretty name

MrsMattie · 08/09/2008 13:35

I adore this name.

prettybird · 08/09/2008 13:35

I like it. But maybe becasue if ds had been a dd, one of his names would have been Elsa, which is similar

TheFallenMadonna · 08/09/2008 13:36

Like it.

Jacaranda · 08/09/2008 13:36

Lovely, it was my great grandmothers name

Vian · 08/09/2008 13:40

Thank you. We have spent months trying to agree on a baby girl name. I think this might be it.

I love Eliza - tis on my list (even though I'm not supposed to be thinking of names for another few weeks.)

pointydog · 08/09/2008 17:28

Doolittle. Puts me off. Prefer Eloise, despite (mayb epartly because of) the Damned song

4madboys · 08/09/2008 17:33

LOVE it, if ds4 had been a girl its what he would have been called, he is Rudi instead

but it really is a lovely name, unusual but not too unusual ifkwim?

Anna8888 · 08/09/2008 17:35

Very pretty. I thought about it for my daughter.

2Eliza2 · 08/09/2008 17:43

Tis my pen name. I like it for this persona.

WendyWeber · 08/09/2008 17:45

Hulababy · 08/09/2008 20:10

3andnomore · 08/09/2008 20:53

SorenLorensen · 08/09/2008 20:55

My second dc would have been Eliza had it not been for the piddling matter of him having a willy...I love that name

nuthacuppatea · 14/09/2008 21:48

Love Eliza. It's on my name list. Hubby keeps saying the dolittle thing but it doesn't bother me. Shall continue to wear him down!(grin)

Heated · 14/09/2008 21:49

Lovely name

ethanchristopher · 14/09/2008 21:54

its lovely

TheNaughtiestGirlIsaMonitor · 14/09/2008 22:24

I love it. I hate Liza though. I'd put Elizabeth on the birth cert and use Eliza for short.
