Now before you start laughing let me tell you I'm not 100% sold on this name but last night I had a dream and I had a baby boy who for reasons unclear I called Ammadaeus I am neither pregnant or thinking about getting pregnant so don't know where the whole baby thing came for. But I do have some questions.

  1. Do you think it goes with the surname Wilson?
  1. Will the child be mercifully bullied due to its name

What would you call him for short. I think you would have to give him an everyday shortening.

RubySlippers · 07/09/2008 11:50

LOL!

MaryAnnSingleton · 07/09/2008 11:50

I'd spell it the usual way if I were to use it (as in Mozart)

DumbledoresGirl · 07/09/2008 11:50

It is spelt Amadeus.

I love it as a name, but I would never use it. Maybe save it for a much loved dog?

Dragonbutter · 07/09/2008 11:51

sounds like a crappy aberdeen nightclub.

bigknickersbigknockers · 07/09/2008 11:53

I have an uncle with a name very similar to Amadeus and he is a lying twat so no, big thumbs down from me.

Twims · 07/09/2008 11:57

See I can't even spell my poor child's name

If he's thick as two short planks and looks like Phil Mitchell when he gets older... it might be a problem...

3andnomore · 07/09/2008 12:02

Amadeus definitely better for a dog or cat....
nono for a child...lol...

anyway, as for dreams...we had decided to stay with one child, and then I had a dream...I dreamed I had a Babygirl and I would call her Luka ....well...that amde em broody and 2 years later we did have another child....twas a boy and not called Luka...had anotehr child after that and a boy again and not a Luka....however, had either of them be a girl, Luka was never a name I considered for a girl...they would either have been called Lina or Anoushka or Tatyana....my favourites at the time...

3andnomore · 07/09/2008 12:04

oh Fabio...that dreadful song by that dreadful Falco...

Twims · 07/09/2008 13:22

But he will be gorgeous and intelligent and wonderful and a PFB

BellaBear · 07/09/2008 13:27

I know someone who has Amadeus as a middle name. It did get him teased at school. But then again, most people didn't believe it was true!

It isn't spelled with two ms

He would be bullied. It sounds faintly mad with wilson as a surname
