reminds me of the childrens hospital Evelina

FabioBadAssCat · 06/09/2008 16:41

ditto misdee

Pretty but sounds slightly made up - Evelina looks more like a real name (I've never heard of the hospital).

Evelina is a real name. theres a girl at ds2 playgroup called it. Shes from eastern europe somewhere where apparently its as normal as say Sarah

norkmaiden · 06/09/2008 17:36

Spelt Evelina it's fine - pretty.

Don't like it with an A, though.

MrsMattie · 06/09/2008 20:30

I know two girls called Evelina, both Polish. Pretty.

TwoWindyDays · 07/09/2008 15:34

3andnomore · 08/09/2008 10:35

dizzydixies · 08/09/2008 10:40

nice

Lauriefairycake · 08/09/2008 10:41

It's nice

but I didn't know it was a 'real' name

Evangeline is nice too (there's an actress, Evangeline Lilley)

LadyThompson · 08/09/2008 15:15

Evelina is a novel by the magnificent Fanny Burney, a 17th century woman of letters (who, incidentally, underwent a mastectomy without an anaesthetic - and survived). I think spelling it Evalina looks wrong. Pretty name though.
