Rudy poncey????

I don't have a baby to name, just lost one but to cheer myself up I read The Book Thief and the character of Rudy in that is so cool and lovely that it changed my opinion of the name and now it's at the top of my list for maybe someday. But is is too poncey? Isn't it the name of one of Sadie Frost's children?

Your op made me chuckle, I thought you can't possibly be considering the name Poncey as a middle name.

That's OK, I'm getting over it by dreaming and scheming about the next one ... Rudy!!

Or.. for a girl... Hedy!!! Now I know eveyone hates this as I floated it with family and friends when I was pg. But I don't care, it's fab!

I rather love Hedy. Think of Hedy Lamarr; she was amazing.

Neither of my dds have them names we considered for them during (or even before) the pg.

First of all we only really like boys names . I only had one girl's name that I really really loved - Emma. (after a very special close friend). Neither of them looked remotely like an Emma so we had to find names that suited them iykwim.

I'm sorry about your loss. Rudy - my gut instinct is that it's a lovely name. I can't help with the names of Sadie Frost's children tho - I'm rubbish at that sort of thing. Hope you're feeling ok.
