Hi, after considering approx 3000 names for dd3 we have decided to play it safe and choose a classic name. We have decided if it is a girl to call her Lucy. I know alot of you will prob think it dull but I can live with that. Iwould like some thoughts though on our middle name choices please.

Lucy Alice
Lucy Beatrice
Lucy Matilda
Lucy Scarlett

(surname Newby)

Beatrice is the best combination with Alice, I think.

They are all lovely names! Actually Lucy is my name and Alice is the name of one of my sisters but Beatrice, Matilda and Scarlett are come of my favourites too!
Perhaps Lucy Beatrice sounds the best combined with your surname.

Matilda, that's the name we're planning on using for dd2.

devonsmummy · 27/08/2008 19:37

Beatrice

I like them all but I think that Matilda sounds best; 2 syllable - 3 syllable - 2 syllable.
