I'm compiling a list atm and may add this.
Any thoughts? I wonder if this will become trendy as I've heard of a few babies recently called this.

As soon as I hear 'Pearl' the 'Pearl & Dean' cinema music comes into my head and goes around and around and is REALLY ANNOYING!!
(Da-da da-da da-da da-dadaaaaaaaaa Da!)
So annoying, horrid name, don't do it!

Also Pearl Lowe, pearl necklace (!) and just generally the grannie-ness of it - uck
And as someone else said it may well go the way of the currently over-used Ruby. I can see it 'catching on'.......

Can't say I like it - sorry. I do know one who is in her 30s and I cringe every time I hear it.
