This name thing is really irritating me, I go through lists on the internet and they just blur into mush.

So if everyone just posts their 5 favorites here I may actually find something I like!

OP posts:

Names I loved but my dh vetoed plus some that I was too afraid to use in fear people would think it too hippy dippy.

Julia
Sierra (hippy dippy fear...)
Lea
Indigo (hippy dippy fear...)
Clara

But, for the OP, I think a three-four syllable name would work well with your last name FWIW.

Maybe:
Eliani (el-ee-ah-knee)
Josephine (nn Jojo)
Alicia
Juliana
Liana/Liliana

I liked the Ariana suggestion. Also Avery...

my all time favourite is Summer but obviously doesn't go with your surname so here goes...

I don't think your boy's names sound American Irish if anything or Latin. I know it has a lot of 's' sounds but i think Saoirse: (pro seer-sha): meaning freedom. This is a wonderful girls name.

Or what about Adelpha? Along the lines of Aurora that you like it means 'beloved sister' in Greek seeing as she has two brothers. Variation is Adelphie.

Caitriona. irish version of Catherine

Dervla (same ring as Dexter) means daughter of Ireland

or finally Latanya
Meaning The Fairy Queen (to enchant you seeing as you are the disenchanted one!)

Let me know what you think!...
