Am not pregnant or ttc yet but have finally persuaded dh to have dc3 in the next few years and think these names are beautiful. Isobel will be known as Bella. What do you think?

dd1 is Lily and dd2 is Lydia - so they match?

Much much much prefer Antonia to Isobel/Bella. (bit popular, too pretty-pretty - literally).

Antonia is classy - stands the test of time i.e. doesn't sound too trendy / little girly.

Henry Clarles is lovely - but no Harry.

I think you had better check what sex the baby is before naming.

princessglitter · 16/08/2008 19:05

Well yes, that's why I have two choices

I have a Charles William and love the name Henry. They're all good classic boys names. I like Isolbel but it seems to be very popular at the moment so there could be a few in her class in a few years time. Antonia is nice though. Might be shortened to Toni.

desperatehousewifetoo · 16/08/2008 19:05

My grandad was Henry Charles too!

Are you my sister TheDoctorsWife46?

princessglitter · 16/08/2008 19:05

Although the 'baby' is hypothetical.

Love Henry but would have to be for me Antonia Isobel

princessglitter · 16/08/2008 19:08

My cousin is Antonia, though. Do you think I could use her name? I don't like Toni, which is what she is known as.

Plus we have a long surname.

Your Antonia could be Anni/a

clairebear88 · 19/08/2008 15:00

Hi

You have good choice in names in my opinion.
Lily, Lydia and Isabel are on my list
I think a shorter middle name would be better than Antonia
I also love all the classic old names for boys too so Henry Charles is great

Awful. Sort of creppy names a Swiss ambassador would call his kids. (But maybe you like that sorta thing??)

princessglitter · 20/08/2008 10:46

lol at Swiss ambassador .

Nothing wrong with having a little fantasy land in your head about baby names - I am aware of reality too . Without fantasy there would be no creativity [frustrated writer emoticon]
