Keiron or Rowan?

Both as names for a boy - which do you prefer and why?

I LOVE Rowan and would have it on my shortlist but dh doesn't like it for some reason. I think it's a really cute name.

Don't like Kieron but not sure why - just not my sort of name.

Rowan. Because it's DS's name, so I'm biased.

I would spell the other name Kieran.

I prefer Keiron, as my friend has a lovely son called this. He is a very cool dude.
They spell it Ciaran though.

Rowan as Kieran happens to be the name of every 'challenging' child I ever taught at school

I went to school with a Kieran. He was beautiful.

I have a Kieran and he is a challenging child

So I'd go for Kieran cos they may be challenging but they are lovely too

Rowans are possibly just as lovely but as I don't know any I can't say

I'm surprised that there are a lot of Kieran's around, I only know two who are both adults.

I have a Rowan and he's fab! I think it's a lovely strong name.
