I once taught 3 siblings from a traveller family called, Blue, Red and Green. Their surname was White! I kid you not.

We have a Colt and a Ricole in our street.

Dd1 has a girl called Brandi in her class

I also heard that a pair of twins born recently were named Bo and Ty

oh yes and i know of a coolio, he was named by his dad after some rapper. My BIl is a star wars fan and named his daughter Leia and son Luke which is not unsual but we were all worried he would come up with something like Aarraba or Lowbacca!

My mum recently taught a boy called
Tybru

apparently his dad was boxing fan and it was a mix of Tyson and Bruno,
what lovely roll models to name a child after!!!

mercedes storm (a girl at uni..always thought porn star name if ever there was one)

efficient (an african guy at work, everyone calls him fish)

we also have a young lad at work called sukhchit (tricky one to shout across the shopfloor)

I'm just reading Ben Elton's 1984-type satire Blind Faith set in a world where it's frowned upon to give your child a "normal" name. So they are called Happymeal, Princess Lovebud and Barbieheart etc.

Not so far from real life quite often...

I know a Jura (the Scottish Island) ALl his siblings have Island names too. I really like that.

I knew a guy who called himself Viking but I believe his real name was Roger.
I went to school with someone whose name was pronounced 'Shaker Boober'.
