Hello again.

Can't believe how indecisive I am. Having absolutely decided on Sebastian I am now having second thoughts (again) but I literally have nothing else I like. I always wanted something slightly less common but not so way out iykwim.

I had considered Rory but then decided against, then Thomas but thought maybe too popular, then Toby but DH doesn't like it.

aaaargh....am going to have a nameless child at this rate!!

More suggestions or opinions on the above please. Already got an Oliver btw.

What about :

Tristan
Felix
Marcus
Henry
Louis
Adam
Jacob

All would sound nice with Oliver I think.

I have a little Daniel - took me a while to get used to it as for ages I actally thought he looked more like an Oliver/Ollie

I do think it's a lovely name now though

Nappy Addict - thanks for the suggestions!

I actually like Rufus but my friend's little boy is called it. I also like Arthur as a middle name as it's DH's grandad's name.

How about obi, coby, joby -all similar to toby but slightly more unusual?

nappyaddict · 04/08/2008 09:53

Judah? Biff? Kit?

hw2004 · 04/08/2008 17:01

what are everyone's feelings on Tobias/toby?

i love this name but DH isn't keen although I could work on him. However, i have asked a few friends/family and no one seems keen.

My Ds is Toby, Its my all time favourite boys name!

A good strong traditional boys name!
I'm not keen on names that sound like they would "date", The old classics are what I like, even if there are a couple of other at school!

We are having another Ds and my list is'

George
Isaac
Noah
Henry
Harry
Max
Jack

Dh is Charles so thats a maybe for the middle name!

hw2004 · 04/08/2008 19:31

Izzybiz - you like very similar names to me. DS1 is Oliver and so i think Oliver and Toby sound nice together. DH is saying no as he used to have a cat called Toby so automatically thinks it's a cat's name - sigh!

I like all of your list but not so keen on noah. let me know what you decide!!
