I have a son who has a surname sOunding name. It is quite unusual but not unheard of. I am now pregnant again due early december and can't think of any other surname sounding names for boys that don't sound really chavvy, anyone got any ideas? Got names for a girl sorted its just a boys name that will go with our son's name that we are struggling on. All suggestions more than welcome!

Brother second name is Denholm which was Moms Maiden Name (quite a common practice in scotland to give Mothers maiden name as middle name.)

clairebear88 · 01/08/2008 12:09

Hi

Tinkerbelles mum - Abbey is my fave girls name but would spell it Abby as bit more feminine. I didnt think of it as a surname ( but did cross my mind of a church )

TinkerBellesMum · 01/08/2008 12:22

It's a name I like too. I just thought it was interesting to see it is a surname considering its the user name of someone who says they don't like surnames. Maybe it is her surname?

lizinthesticks · 01/08/2008 13:27

"( but did cross my mind of a church )"

How strange.

wombleprincess · 01/08/2008 13:33

I've got a good one (well, I like it) Lennox. Very Brangelina. I bet they're saving it for their next child in fact.

clairebear88 · 01/08/2008 14:15

"Mmmm how bitchy Lizinthesticks
You know what I meant..."

Way to mistake bitchiness for sarcasm. Btw, which part of what I said suggested I didn't know what you meant??

mum2taylor · 01/08/2008 15:37

Claire lizinthesticks is either a troll or a bitch.....either way best ignored imo!!!

clairebear88 · 01/08/2008 17:02

thanks mum2taylor I thought it was just me who thought that.
consider IT ignored

lizinthesticks · 01/08/2008 19:56

"Bitch," "troll," "it," - nice going, people. Name calling really elevates your position. Takes you out of the playground and into the world of adulthood quite nicely. Ganging up - another cool move. Label me impressed.

mum2niamh · 01/08/2008 20:01

harrison, jackson, dalton, mckenzie, cameron, campbell, kerr, murray, mitchell...

I personally LOVE the names dalton and murray but I have a DH who is 'traditional' with names grrr

Loriycs · 01/08/2008 20:12

i heard a boy called Cooper the other day, i dont like it myself but you wanted suggestions
