Ok, final shortlist (I think!)

Have gone through all sorts of names from traditional to more unusual and just think I am more comfortable using something fairly traditional. What do you think of my shortlist and which sounds best. Surname Newby. DD1 Charlotte, DD2 Molly

For boy Harry Charles or Thomas Charles
Girl, Lucy Alice, Lucy Scarlett or Alice Scarlett (we Did like Matilda as well but no one else in family liked it)

I like them all except Scarlett. If you are fixed on Scarlett it goes better with Lucy IMO.

Boys - I like both

Girls - I prefer Lucy to Alice. I like Scarlett as a middle name, but Alice is ok. BTW, I love the name Matilda.

DD1 is Alice Elizabeth. How about that as a middle name?

Alice Newby sounds better than Lucy Newby to me.

Harry not Thomas.
