Opinions?

Also what middle name goes with Camille?

Already have a Grace Elisabeth and a Maya Rose so none of them please!

Prefer Esme, but Camille is nice too.

How about Esme Camille?

pgwithnumber3 · 10/07/2008 19:39

Oh good idea watsthestory - would like something with one syllable though for the middle name - Rose is ideal but I already have that.

Your current names are beautiful. I like Esme best (I teach a not so nice Camille ).

Together I think they sound a bit too "Mmmm" if that makes sense, with the Ms in the middle of both.

Middle name for Camille depends on how many syllables in your surname I think.

beaniesteve · 10/07/2008 19:40

I like Esme.

giddykipper · 10/07/2008 19:41

Camille May?

giddykipper · 10/07/2008 19:41

No, a bit too close to Maya

suiledonn · 10/07/2008 19:43

My sister is Camille Louise!

janeite · 10/07/2008 19:43

Ok - one syllable!

Camille Jane
Camille Eve
Camille Joy
Camille Mae (maybe too like Maya)
Camille Niamh

QueenMeabhOfConnaught · 10/07/2008 19:44

It just rolls off the tongue, suiledonn!!

nailpolish · 10/07/2008 19:44

Camille is lovely

Camille Anne
Camille Belle
Camille Kate

tbh imho i dont see the point of middle names so personally i wouldnt bother (didnt for my dds)

QueenMeabhOfConnaught · 10/07/2008 19:45

Oh no, janeite Camille Niamh comes out as Camel Knee-v!!

janeite · 10/07/2008 19:46

Camel? It doesn't sound like like Camel!

I get your point though!

nailpolish · 10/07/2008 19:49

Camille Sue

pgwithnumber3 · 10/07/2008 19:50

Yes, think I prefer Camille to Esme - easier to say and can be shorted to Cam or Millie (which I wouldn't do but you know what the kids are like in school!)

Camille Hope
Camille Iris (sorry 2 syllables)

hannahsaunt · 10/07/2008 20:03

I love Esme; I think it's a beautiful name. Not that I dislike Camille but it does run the risk of being misread as Camilla which could be a pain.

pgwithnumber3 · 10/07/2008 20:06

Like Camille Hope.

OP posts:
snooks · 10/07/2008 20:13

I love both names Camille Hope, dh didn't like them as much as me , we agreed on Pearl for dd

QueenMeabhOfConnaught · 10/07/2008 20:17

Camille Hope is lovely!!!

(Sorry - I do know Camille is not pronounced like camel but when I saw it next to "Niamh" I couldn't resist!).

nailpolish · 10/07/2008 20:20

i quite like Camilla

thinking about it i really lke it

janeite · 10/07/2008 21:02

Now, Camille Meabh might work!

Can we think of middle names for Esme too please pgwithnumber3? I'm liking this thread with lovely old fashioned names on!
