Ah- Ree-Arna
or Ah Ree Annah.
Either or.

PrincessPeaHead · 06/07/2008 22:04

and it is usually spelt Arianna

I think it is sort of pretty but sort of sounds like "aryan".

I prefer Mariana

It's a pretty name although I don't know how to pronounce it.

LynetteScavo · 06/07/2008 22:09

Arry-arnah.

Stars22 · 06/07/2008 22:12

I know a Ariana spelt the same way as you have spelt it and it is pronounced A-ree-anna. A like ant not A like arm.

Anna8888 · 06/07/2008 22:13

Ariadne
Arianne (French version)

are prettier than Arianna.

She is a character in the last Harry Potter book btw!

doggyandteddy · 06/07/2008 22:16

Hi Puss, I know that, that's where I read it and didn't know how to spell it.

How do you pronounce Ariadne? Can you hear the D in it?

Would everyone thnk Harry Potter if you called a baby it? Not even pregnant btw, just wondering

Doggy - I think its a lovely name and have thought so since I saw it in the book. It doesn't matter if it was in a book at the end of the day - its what you like that counts!

Tortington · 07/07/2008 12:04

reminds me of a ferry we sail to france in.

OneLieIn · 07/07/2008 12:05

ah-ree-ah-nah

Lovely!

SoupDragon · 07/07/2008 12:05

Arry-arnah

Can't bear Ariadne though, I think it's an ugly name!

LynetteScavo · 07/07/2008 22:33
