We are stumped for the middle name

So me and husband have come up with the first name of Gabriel, but we have not decided on a middle name. Our top choice right now is Thomas but I’m not sold on it. Other options could be Wayne, Parker, Jerome, Eric with the last name being Williams, but I’m not so sure that it would flow very well with those options. Looking for any suggestions or recommendations.

I think Thomas fits perfectly.
Wayne is so dated. parker is awful, so is Jerome. I like Eric but it doesn't flow as well.

Gabriel isn’t a vanilla name so Thomas wouldn’t go I don’t think. Jerome is the best out the bunch I think. Depends if you want meaning behind it like are they family names or do you just want a nice middle name xx

Agree Thomas is perfect unless you have a family name to use.

Deginitely not Wayne - a completely opposite vibe to Gabriel which is lovely.

I think classical but not ovetly religious is your best bet. Gabriel Thomas is nice. Similar vibe would be something like Gabriel Alexander or Gabriel Oliver

Thomas is lovely. I like Jerome and Eric too, but definitely not Wayne and Parker. They’re a bizarre set of names to come up with, all very different in style.

My first choice would always be Alexander I have to say. Ultimately they say their full name so infrequently that’s it’s not worth getting too uptight about. Thomas would be my choice from your list.

Middle names aren’t mandatory!
Gabriel is a lovely choice.
(we chose family-centric names for our DCs, not quirky or exotic but ones to remind us of respected loved ones)

Sorry but Wayne is awful. Any family names you could use? Although middle names aren't mandatory, it would give him the option of another name if he dislikes Gabriel.

Does Wayne have some very special family connection? If not then get rid of it now. It’s dreadful.
