My children are called Henry and Florence. 3rd baby haven't found out the gender but pretty sure it's a boy... we are fine with girls names but need help with boys names! There's none that have fully stuck.
Names we have are
Robin
Rupert
Finn
i love the name Wilfred but my partner hates it.

Robin and Rupert are nice. Finn is less classic and more trendy.

I don't really like the sound of Florence and Finn together.

Like some other pp, Arthur sprang to mind when I thought Henry, Florence and ...?

I think Rupert is a bit weak vis a vis Henry.

What about the old MN fave of James and you could call him Jim, which sounds a bit like Finn but avoids the FF alliteration with Florence? I think Jim is rather sweet, and James is a good strong name like Henry.

Why do they need to match? One day they may live on separate continents. Just pick the one you like most.

When someone asks this question about a ‘matching’ name I always wonder who they have in their heads as having the power to decide what ‘matches’ 🤔 Is it friends and family? Or the children themselves? Or strangers? I don’t understand the reason matching matters so much.

So OP, if you had Henry, Florence and River, or Henry, Florence and Jackson, or Henry, Florence and Tulisa, names which could be argued not to ‘match’, but that you really liked, would it bother you if they were perceived as ‘non-matching’?

I say if you like a particular name, go for your life! Chances are your children won’t live in the same neighbourhood when they’re adults.

Hopefully more helpful though - if you definitely want something to ‘match’ with Henry and Florence, then a look through the Daily Telegraph and Times birth announcements sections is a good place to start.

All the best with the rest of your pregnancy 💐
