I like romantic sort of sounding names. I am a history nut mainly just European history but am interested in some other bits. My DS is called Alexander though I usually call him Alex. And I love Alex. But we are struggling to think of a boys name. Am not even pregnant yet. Sigh. But really can you give me some ideas??? I love Cassius but DH thinks it sounds poncey. I can see what he means but I still love it. I also like Cary (as in Grant)

Thoughts????

Actually, it's my dp that loves Cassius. He would shorten it to Cass. It is growing on me.

Gabriel?
Rufus?
Arthur?

My Dad is Lawrence so I cant have any variation of that name since we arent close.

Cassius... well yes there are murdering issues there but so with most boys names! I'm sure Alexander the Great killed a few people in his time!

Cassius always makes me think of Cassius Clay, or Mohammed Ali the boxer as he was later known. Alright if you like boxing I suppose.
